2024 Calendar / Yotsume Dye House

2024 wall hanging calendar by Yotsume Dye House, based in Kunisaki city, Oita prefecture. 

The theme of this year's calendar is "The Climate and Culture of Kyushu and Okinawa.
Kyushu, with its many volcanoes such as Aso and Sakurajima, has topography and soil brought about by volcanic eruptions, and a way of life and culture unique to that area. Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Okinawa have a tropical climate mixed with cultures from other countries and Honshu (main island of Japan).
