A large enameled steel trash can by Bunbuku, a longstanding manufacturer of quality metal goods. A timeless design that fits any environment, home or office, made popular during the economic growth period in Japan (1955-1973).
The wastebasket's tapered shape with a moulded rim allows for easy stacking. The body stands slightly above ground, with a rubber gasket at the base to keep it from moving around. Steel is rendered in caulking process, as opposed to welding, to form a rust-free, highly durable frame. A dip in an attractive enamel color gives off a sophisticated yet friendly feel.
Made in Japan.
Awarded “Good Design Long Life Design Awards” in 2015.
Dimension: Ø10.75” x (H)13.5”
